Opus’s plans in Staffs get the green light
Veolia Environmental Services’ plans to create a green regional office in Cannock, Staffordshire, have been approved by Cannock Chase District Council. The recycling and waste management company will take occupation of its new environmentally friendly offices at the Kingswood Lakeside site in summer 2011. Opus Land is the developer on the project – one of the region’s largest design and build schemes in recent years - which has been pre-let to Veolia Environmental on an 18-year term. Opus will invest nearly £7m in the project. Staff from the company’s offices at Wolverhampton and Brownhills, Walsall will relocate to the new office.
