B3 buys GLR
B3Architects has bought rivals GLR Architects, which has an office in Loughborough, as part of a five-year strategy to become the “No 1 sports architects in the country”. GLR specialises in designing public and private sports and leisure facilities. Paul Robinson and Jonathan Mawson, partners at GLR, said: “This acquisition brings together some of the most experienced sports design professionals in the business. In addition, this gives us an opportunity to accelerate expansion into new sectors within the region.” B3 acquired Gibson Hamilton, a specialist sports architecture firm, in 2007.
