HSE inspectors launch building-site crackdown
Health and Safety Executive (HSE) inspectors will this week be making unannounced visits to construction sites in Derby and Nottingham as part of an intensive inspection initiative aimed at stopping dangerous practices on building sites in the East Midlands. Inspectors will be in Nottingham on 10 March and in Derby on the 11th. During 2008/9, one person died and 777 were injured across the East Midlands while working in construction.
