Planning approvals granted at Bescot Retail Park

Share | |

ROM Capital Group, the owner of the Bescot Retail Park, has finally been granted approval on proposals - submitted early in 2009 - that will allow Argos and Aldi to move into premises on the retail park. ROM originally submitted proposals to Walsall Council that requested minor changes to restrictions on what could be sold at the retail park, in order to allow Argos and Aldi to take up residence. Aldi is now able to take up a 4,846 sq ft unit, while Argos Extra is able to take up a 65,477 sq ft unit. Following the change-of-use consent being granted, ROM is set to recommence discussions with the two retailers and hopes to be in position to announce their confirmed arrival at the park shortly.
