Chase joins forces with Barpro
Developer Chase Commercial has teamed up with Bromsgrove components firm Barpro Group to build a new DIY store. The two companies have gone into partnership to redevelop Barpro’s former manufacturing site in Sherwood Road. The 4.2-acre site fronts the A38 and has planning consent for a 40,000 sq ft DIY store, which, the joint partners say, could eventually be the town’s only major DIY retail outlet. Harris Lamb acted for Barpro, while Ramsdens provided advice to Chase Commercial.
