Derby College steps up plans for Mackworth site
Derby College has stepped up plans to sell its site at Prince Charles Avenue in Mackworth. An outline planning application for the mixed-use development of the 20-acre site, including residential, health, leisure, community facilities and living accommodation for the elderly, has been re-submitted to Derby City Council. Commercial property agents Rigby and Co are marketing the site as a development opportunity. Derby College principal David Croll said: “We are confident that a site of this size will attract significant interest from the development community, and it will be a fantastic opportunity to create new facilities for the local community.”
