What does this mean?
The deal means that GCI Telecom Group now has more than 140 employees and an annual turnover of more than £40m. The company is privately owned by Wayne Martin, who acts as group chairman and majority shareholder, chief executive Don McQueen and non-executive director James Keay. Funding for the acquisition was provided by RBS relationship manager Richard Dowen and Mike Johnson from the RBS structured debt solutions team.

GCI Telecom Group, formed in 2005, recently acquired IP Infrastructures Limited. It has completed eight acquisitions in the past four years. Mark Allen, group finance director at GCI Telecom Group, said: "The acquisition of Invomo will add an important arm to GCI Group's offering with the addition of inbound telephony services, infrastructure, resources and customers, resulting in a comprehensive value-added telecoms services portfolio for UK companies."
