Prologis could face legal action over Eurohub payments
Big shed developer Prologis is facing the threat of legal action if it doesn’t pay more than £3m in Section 106 payments in the next few weeks. The payments are in return for the granting of planning permission for its Eurohub development near Corby. Corby Borough Council expects a payment of £850,000, while Northampton County Council is demanding £2.5m. Prologis says it has not started work on the 3 million sq ft rail freight terminal that will eventually link into the mainline railway. The two councils have threatened to take the matter to the courts if the Solihull-based industrial and distribution development specialist does not pay up.
