Provident Works refurb starts
The £300,000 major refurbishment of Provident Works in Nottingham has begun. The refurbishment of the former Victorian textile mill situated in Newdigate Street in the city is being led by Nottingham Regeneration Limited (NRL). Williams Architects won the contract to carry out design work and project management services, and construction firm Bonsers (Nottingham) is carrying out the build. As well as a major upgrading of the entrance to the building, there will be a new-build extension of the two-storey brick annexe, which is currently derelict. Under the scheme, it will be brought back into use to provide office accommodation.
