Carillion gets Rochdale gig
Wolverhampton construction firm Carillion and its joint-venture partners have achieved financial close for the Rochdale Building Schools for the Future (BSF) programme, part of the government's £55bn BSF programme. This latest success brings the total value of BSF projects won by Carillion to around £1.3bn and further consolidates the group's position as one of the leading suppliers to the BSF programme. The programme will deliver 13 new or refurbished schools in three phases over a four-year period. Carillion will carry out the building and refurbishment work, with work due to start this month.
