Seddon beats recession with record growth
Strengthening its position in the property-maintenance sector has seen a national painting contractor buck the current economic trend with figures revealing year-on-year growth of 100 per cent over the past five years. Since 2004, Stoke-on-Trent’s Seddon Painting’s turnover has shot up from £25m to £53m – and the number of employees has grown from 600 to 1000. Now, to reflect the long-standing success of the business - and significant advances into the property-maintenance sector - the company has rebranded to Seddon Property Services. Neil Hand, joint managing director, said: “The new name better reflects the mix of the business.”
