Simple bought by Alberto Culver
Skincare group Simple has been bought by US beauty business Alberto Culver Company for £240m. It bought the Solihull-based group from private-equity house Duke Street. Simple said it was "business as usual" for its 58 West Midlands workers. Simple has seen a 15 per cent year-on-year sales growth and has increased its market share by 50 per cent, becoming the No. 1 female facial skincare brand in the UK.
