Tolent powers up for Staythorpe contract
Having recently completed a first phase of development at Staythorpe Power Station in Nottinghamshire, building contractors Tolent Construction have secured a second contract on the next phase of construction, valued at £3.5m. Tolent's first contract at Staythorpe Power Station involved the construction of a workshop and stores, an administration and control building, a gatehouse and an oil lube store. The £5m development was handed over last month, and Tolent has now commenced on the next phase, an external works package for the entire site.
