CfE investment for Monumental
Maven Capital Partners as joint manager of the Capital for Enterprise (CfE) Fund, has invested £2m into Monumental Games, the Nottingham provider of massively multiplayer online games (MMOG). The investment in Monumental is one of the first investments to be made by the CfE Fund, and will support Monumental's growth and development plans to become a leading, worldwide provider of MMOG. Rik Alexander, Monumental chief executive, said: "We will use this capital to develop our technology to better serve our teams and to develop our teams to better serve our publishing partners. It gives us the opportunity to consolidate our growth to date and to pursue some exciting opportunities moving forward."
