ScriptSwitch sold to United Health
Coventry software company ScriptSwitch has been sold to UnitedHealth UK, part of US corporate UnitedHealth Group, for an undisclosed sum. Catalyst Corporate Finance acted for the ScriptSwitch shareholders, who included ISIS Equity Partners, Advantage Growth Fund and the management team, on the sale. ScriptSwitch is a provider of software designed to support GPs with patient-safety information, drug switch recommendations and dosage-optimisation information at the point of prescription. ISIS originally supported the £10m secondary buy-out of ScriptSwitch in May 2007. Since then, the company has grown rapidly, increasing the number of patients with access to its services by more than 250 per cent.
