DLA sees green leases surge
So-called green leases are catching on fast in the commercial property world, according to a leading lawyer. David Brammer, an associate in the real-estate and planning team at the Birmingham office of DLA Piper, said it was in part a response to government pressure for reform. A green lease requires landlords and tenants to meet targets relating to environmental issues, such as energy, water and waste management.
