Jones Lang LaSalle sees churn continuing in Brum
Birmingham's office-leasing market will continue to be driven by market churn in the sub-10,000 sq ft category over the next year, with new requirements helping to drive the market forward during 2010, according to Jonathan Fear, head of Jones Lang LaSalle's National Office Agency team in Birmingham "Office uptake in Birmingham city centre in quarter three was focused on the sub-10,000 sq ft market, which generated a comparable volume of activity to the previous three years. As such, we anticipate that this market churn will continue to be the primary driver of deals in the city over the next year," he said.
