DeVirgo prepares to submit Grange Park planning application
Developer DeVirgo will submit a detailed planning and design application for the first phase of Grange Park, Northampton next month. The application will include plans for 20,000 sq ft of high-quality commercial space, a 150-bed hotel, 56 houses and 38 apartments. Subject to planning, work on the 24-acre mixed-use site is scheduled to start in spring 2010. During its seven- to ten-year development programme, Grange Park will deliver a total of 450 homes and create almost 600 jobs for the area. In total, Grange Exchange, the commercial quarter within the mixed-use scheme, will deliver more than 100,000 sq ft of commercial space.
