Share | |
The South Staffordshire and Shropshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust has appointed BAM Construction in the Midlands to deliver its £50m mental-health facilities in Shelton. The 120-bed mental-health facility will include a 24-bed low-security unit; enabling works will begin in autumn 2010, with completion expected in 2012. The Trust staged a public exhibition of its plans in July. The 11,200 sq m project will be delivered under England's ProCure21 health construction framework; Nightingale Associates are responsible for the architecture. The construction element is worth around £31m.
