Travis Perkins reports steady year
Travis Perkins, the Northampton-based builders' merchant, has seen its turnover drop by 8.5 per cent over the 11 months to the end of November. The figures, released by the firm in an interim management statement, showed that the company's performance was "a little ahead of expectations". A statement read: "We now expect earnings to be at the upper end of market expectations for 2009."
