H & E Knowles plants seeds for growth
Garden-products manufacturer H & E Knowles has bought out local competitor Brettell & Shaw of Lye. The deal reinforces the company's market-leading position in products ranging from watering cans and wheelbarrows to incinerators and fireside ranges. H & E Knowles was founded in the 1920s and pioneered the manufacture of tin baths at its Lye Works. Today, the company sells garden, homeware, DIY and iron products to customers around the world.
