Happy camping for Hawkins Hatton
Dudley law firm Hawkins Hatton has advised entrepreneur Roy Pitchford in his acquisition of Europe's largest caravan and camper-van recovery and salvage specialists for an undisclosed sum. Gloucestershire-based Pitchford has bought Caps (UK) Limited, which is based in the village of Upleadon, halfway between Gloucester and Newent, and was established by Richard Bladek in December 2000. The deal was managed by Hawkins Hatton corporate partner Colin Rodrigues. "Camping and caravanning is enjoying a resurgence in the UK, and this deal will enable the business to grow further through investment," he said.
