Share | |
Birmingham law firm Wragge & Co's banking and finance team has advised US-based investors on a $200m privately placed note issue for UK housing association Places for People Homes. The money raised was secured against Places for People Homes' property portfolio. Capital markets director Edward Sunderland led the team, supported by banking associate Angela Boughton, with partner Colin Hurt and director Robin Pearson advising on real-estate issues. Sunderland said: "The team's vast experience of the housing sector and expertise in cross-border capital markets was crucial in delivering this complex transaction within a tight timescale." Places for People is one of the largest property management, development and regeneration companies in the UK.
