BAM gets Wolves bus station gig
Neptune Developments, working in partnership with Wolverhampton City Council, has selected BAM Construction as preferred contractor to build Wolverhampton's new £20m bus station. Rob Mason, Neptune's development director, said: "We are very excited to have started work on the Wolverhampton Interchange scheme, and the selection of BAM as the preferred contractor demonstrates that we are firmly on target." BAM's local commercial work includes the redevelopment of Birmingham's Brindleyplace and the Fore business park in Solihull. Its local team recently won the Prime Minister's Better Public Building Award for Joseph Chamberlain College in Birmingham.
