Worcester BID expected to boost office market
Worcester's newly adopted Business improvement District (BID) is likely to raise demand for office space in the city centre according to representatives from a county business property service. Representatives from Worcestershire Property Search (WPS), which helps businesses find their ideal commercial premises in the county, have welcomed the BID, which was given the go-ahead by businesses across the city centre on Wednesday. The BID will create a pot of more than £1.6m, which will be spent on a range of city-centre projects over the next five years. Kim Clifford, a WPS representative, said its introduction was likely to herald a surge in interest in office space in the city.
