Turning Point invests in natural remedy

Share | |
Turning Point, the East Midlands venture capital company, has added Leicester-based play therapy company Mohdoh to its investment portfolio. Fronted by Tom Mawhood, Turning Point has invested £60,000 in the business for a 40 per cent stake and is also looking to support its development in terms of marketing to help secure high street and mass market outlets. Pip Dawkins of Bray & Bray acted on behalf of Mohdoh and Tom Gray of Berryman acted on behalf of Turning Point. The brainchild of single parent Simon Palfreyman, Mohdoh provides play therapy whereby a natural 'dough' is treated with a concoction of essential oils and colour therapy to help children through everyday illnesses and disorders such as coughs, colds, travel sickness and sleeplessness.
