It seems entirely appropriate that an event designed to celebrate the most shining examples of Yorkshire business should have ended up taking place on one of the sunniest of many sunny days this autumn.
And that it should have happened at one of Yorkshire's most historic buildings.
But that is indeed what happened with Insider's inaugural Growth 100 Awards.
The event is an extension of Insider's own Growth 100 list, a ranking published every September of the fastest growing companies in Yorkshire and the Humber, based on turnover going back five years.
Over 100 business owners and professionals from right across the region turned out to see who had won, enjoying the hospitality, serene surroundings and excellent food of the Harewood Suite at Harewood House outside Leeds.
