Insider’s second Dealmakers Awards for the South West proved a night to remember for two men in particular. The prestigious Dealmaker of the Year award was won by KPMG’s Andrew Hodgson, after he missed out at the inaugural awards in 2007. And Hodgson also picked up corporate finance adviser of the year. His main rival on the night was Lloyds TSB’s Clive Hetherington, who was named corporate banker of the year and also saw his team walk away with the corporate banking team of the year award.
