Insider's new East Midlands Dealmaker of the Year is David Jones of Deloitte. Jones, a clear winner, picked up his title at the East Midlands Dealmakers Awards following his work on transactions like Gardman, Vision Security, Bond Care, Kids Unlimited and Aquith Day Nurseries. The Deal of the Year went to Gardman, following an £85m investment by Barclays Private Equity in the Lincolnshire wild bird care and garden products group.
The dinner saw the introduction of three new awards. Advisory Team of the Year went to Deloitte; Legal Team of the Year was handed to Browne Jacobson; and LDC was named Funding Team of the Year.
