Insider's economic debate road show turns its attention to Gloucestershire in late January. A panel of leaders from business and the public sector will debate the challenges and opportunities facing the county in front of an invited business audience.
With the Gloucestershire Local Enterprise Partnership up and running, the debate is an opportunity to explore progress and priorities for the county, and to hear from key stakeholders from the public and private sector.
Gloucestershire has a strong and varied economy based around the twin centres of Cheltenham and Gloucester, and significant expertise in high-value industries such as advanced engineering. It also boasts good connections to Birmingham to the north and Bristol to the south.
What more needs to happen to unlock the economic potential of the county - and what is the LEP doing to identify its priorities in the years ahead?
