Following on from the overwhelming success of last year’s East Midlands Dealmakers Dinner, it gives us great pleasure to announce that we are returning to the East Midlands Conference Centre for the 2011 dinner.
Last year’s event was not only an excellent networking opportunity but was also a great opportunity to toast the re-emergence of the East Midlands dealmaking community after a difficult few years.
The latest figures from the Centre for Management Buy-Out Research (CMBOR) show that deals completed in the East Midlands in 2010 nearly doubled from the previous year - a sign that confidence is returning to the market. We have seen a strong recovery in deals over £500m and the fact that nearly 25% of deals are above £100m is a good sign. Our awards this year will celebrate the return of these deals.
