The message that universities can be key drivers for businesses looking to improve their performance has clearly reached Yorkshire. Across the region, colleges and business schools are rising to the challenge of providing people with the right skills to enter local businesses. This is music to the ears of business owners, especially in the manufacturing sector, who have called for graduates with relevant practical skills to employ, rather than academically sound individuals who cannot fit into their businesses.
