When the central Manchester property market rattled up a thumping 1.3 million sq ft of deals in 2010 the city’s office agents were near-unanimous in their calls that the city needed someone, anyone, to take a deep breath and speculatively build new grade A office space.
That hasn’t happened, and with the occupier market markedly slower this year, are many still hopeful that developers will give them the shiny new product inward investors are said to want?
Where does the supply of grade A space stand at present, how quickly will it go and to whom? We want to hear from agents to help us hammer out some answers to these questions and more. We’ll also be looking at Liverpool and asking what the city needs now, following the completion of 4 St Paul’s Square.
We’ll also be looking to round up offices activity across the region – are there any bright spots in less heralded areas?
